I love wood.
So much so that when I was young, I used to build fires in my basement with a wood-burning stove that I bought for $25.
The fire is almost always a success, but sometimes I do have to wait.
I’m not talking about the big ones.
Sometimes I’m trying to make a fire that might be on the top floor of a house, and it gets stuck.
And I can’t figure out why.
I don’t know why I’m so good at it.
In this episode of the Wooden Fire Podcast, we talk about the challenges of building fireproof walls, how to find the right materials, and how to make them even better.
Topics include: How to build a fireproof wall that works for your home, how much wood you should use and how much you should burn, how the weather works, what to look for when looking for the right fire wood, what wood to buy and what to avoid, how long it takes to get an idea of the best wood for your wall, and more.
