A fancy wooden door at a Toronto home has been replaced after a woodworking shop refused to sell it.
The wooden door had been in the home for more than 30 years, but it was recently replaced.
The owners have been approached by the company that owns the home, Woodstock Group, to sell the door, but the company says they are unwilling to do so.
A spokesperson for Woodstock says they have not been served with a sale notice.
The home has a number of small details that have become a focal point for a public debate over the cost of wood in Canada.
The house sits in the Scarborough neighbourhood of Woodstock, in the west end of the city.
A new wooden door was installed in October.
The door was purchased for $1,000 in the late 1990s.
Woodstock is known for its woodworking shops and other furniture.
